If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Helmsley Home reserve the right to modify/change this website at any given time. Prices displayed are inclusive of UK VAT but not exclusive of delivery costs.


When you place an order with us, it will be deemed that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you are unhappy with any part of these terms and conditions, you should contact Helmsley Home at enquiries@helmsleyhome.co.uk before placing an order with us.

We make every effort to ensure that all products are in stock, however, in the event of us not having your chosen product we will call you or email you and offer either a refund or a later delivery if possible.

When you place an order, we will require your name, email address, credit/debit card, telephone and address details. This information is required in order to process your request or inform you of acceptance of your order. A contact telephone number is required so that we can get in touch if there’s a problem with your order. We may, unless your inform us otherwise, provide our couriers with your contact number in case they need to reach you to arrange delivery of your order.

Credit card orders are processed securely by Sagepay, Helmsley Home does not handle any credit card data for orders placed online.

Please note that pictures used on our website may not be to scale, always check the dimensions which are listed alongside descriptions on each product. Colours are reproduced as accurately as possible, however, as with all photography, there may be some slight variation.

If you wish to cancel an order, please call our help team on 01622 962014.

When placing an order you will be added to our email list. However should you wish not to receive mailings, please email enquiries@helmsleyhome.co.uk and your email address will be removed from our list. Helmsley Home will never disclose any personal information to any third party.


Delivery will be via our couriers or Royal Mail.

Postage Costs:

Standard Delivery: £4.95 to mainland UK (unfortunately, we only post to UK addresses at the current time)

Orders over £100 – Free Delivery

We aim to process orders the same day, although at busy times we may take slightly longer.

Our standard delivery will be with you in approx 1-4 working days. For larger orders, delivery times may vary.


We do hope you are happy with your purchases from Helmsley Home. However, if for any reason you are not happy, we will offer an exchange or refund on any item as long as it is returned to us in the original packaging and in a saleable condition within 14 days of receipt. Please therefore keep all packaging until you are sure you wish to keep your items.

Please note, before you send any items back to us you must email us at returns@helmsleyhome.co.uk giving us your order number and the items you wish to return along with the reason for return. We will then issue you with a return number which you will need to clearly enclose with your items – we will also give you our address at this time. Please do not send any items back until you have received a return number from us.

Unfortunately Helmsley Home cannot refund or exchange an item if 14 days or over has passed since receipt.

Helmsley Home are not responsible for the return postage cost unless the item is damaged or faulty – please see our damaged or faulty item section.

When you send the items back to us, we recommend that you use registered delivery to ensure the items get to us, please keep the proof of postage so that the item can be tracked. The items are your responsibility until we received them back - we cannot be held responsible for any return parcels that fail to reach us.

Please take reasonable care of the items and ensure they are wrapped securely, particularly fragile items.

In order to qualify for a refund, the returned items must be unused, in perfect condition, undamaged and in the original packaging.

Returns may take up to 14 days to be processed during busy periods.

Cancelling an Order

If you wish to cancel your whole order and return it to us, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you must let us know within 8 working days of receiving your parcel. This can be done by emailing us at enquiries@helmsleyhome.co.uk. You will then need to return the whole order to us, at your own expense if you have already received it. Please ensure the parcel is sent by registered delivery to ensure the items get to us, as the items are your responsibility until they are received by us. Once we receive your whole order back we will issue a full refund including the original delivery charge (if applicable).

Damaged or Faulty Items

Here at Helmsley Home, we pride ourselves on our customer care. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days by email at enquiries@helmsleyhome.co.uk, quoting your order number and also a photograph of the damaged item. We will then issue you with a return number and pay for your return postage to us. We will send a replacement out to you immediately free of charge, subject to stock availability. We do our best to ensure that our items are wrapped securely to ensure it gets to you in perfect condition, but we do have to rely on third party companies to deliver our goods and unfortunately, occasionally breakages can happen.

Returning Gifts

An item that was received as a gift can be returned for an exchange or gift vouchers, however please note, an email will be sent to the person who made the original purchase when the exchange is completed. Refunds can only be made to the original card or debit card on which the gift was purchased. Please contact us on enquiries@helmsleyhome.co.uk for more details.

Items Not Received

If an item has not been received within 7 days, please contact us and we will track the item to find out it’s location.

Promotion Codes

Please note that only one promotional code can be used at any one time and promotion codes are not valid on sale items. Helmsley Home reserves the right to stop or remove a promotion code at any time without prior warning.


We make every effort to protect the privacy of our users and customers. As such we will not ask for any personal details that are not required as part of your transaction. Any personal data collected by us will be safely and securely stored and not shared with any third party.
